Hazelwood Tales

Hazelwood Tales is a hand-drawn woodland repeat that pairs inquisitive foxes, gentle fawns and watchful hares with looping botanical vines. The illustrations feel like a found etching—precise linework, subtle texture and a calm, vintage-minded palette. The pattern reads at a medium scale: animals and sprays sit in a steady rhythm so the design holds its presence across an entire wall yet still rewards a close look. From a distance it reads as a warm, leafy field; up close you’ll notice tiny acorns, pale wildflowers and careful fur detail. Use it as a cozy nursery backdrop, an entryway accent, a powder room surprise or as an upholstered-bed headwall. It pairs especially well with warm woods, olive greens and soft linens—styling that highlights its storybook quality without feeling childlike. Color notes: warm russet and soft brown animals, olive and fern greens, muted blue and buttery yellow floral accents on a warm cream ground. The overall mood is calm, nostalgic and quietly whimsical.
